We know, we know. School started this week. It almost feels too cruel to use words like "summer" anymore, but the truth is that we are still in the thick of it. The crickets were going nuts last night, the way that they do in your memory when the snow covers the ground and everything is quiet in your backyard. Much of this summer is memory now, but that's part of the feast. Getting to remember, getting to linger. The present moment passes too quickly for our hearts to drink it all in, so we're grateful for the opportunity to remember and share what this summer held. Because it's not over. Not yet.
