It's that time. The buzzing cicadas, the warbling of the ice cream truck, the flu-like symptoms from too much AC blasting in our faces. It must be summer. Seasons are made up of snap shots. These July days aren't all grilling in the evening and days on the water, but they are what we hold on to. They are moments in a season, a season in a year, that still finds itself in the larger context of a world in it's place in time. We need the balance of soft evenings and joyful moments to offset the war and the trauma of a story that demands much from us. If we engage it. And it's our hope that since you're here reading, you're also engaging it along with us. Here's to summer. Here's to engaging.
